Islanders blank Devils 1-0 (Yahoo! Sports)

Kyle Okposo scored the game's only goal and Anders Nilsson stopped 24 shots for his first NHL victory and the New York Islanders beat the New Jersey Devils 1-0 on Sunday. With the victory, the Islanders (28-29-9) moved within five points of Winnipeg for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
