Bruins vs. Senators; Darryl Sutter on East Coast Bias (Puck Previews)

Back by popular demand, here are your Puck Previews: Spotlighting the key games in NHL action, news and views as well as general frivolity. Make sure to stop back here for the nightly Three Stars when the games are finished.

Preview: Boston Bruin at Ottawa Senators, 7:30 p.m. ET. Good news for Bruins fans – they aren’t looking past the Sens. Said Claude Julien: “Ottawa, they just keep finding ways to win. No matter who's in their lineup, I just find them to be a hard working team, they compete hard all over the ice. It gives them a chance. They're getting solid goaltending and, when you compete hard all over the ice, you don't give other teams much. Like I said, I give them a lot of credit.” Tuukka Rask is likely against Robin Lehner.

Preview: Calgary Flames at Los Angeles Kings, 10 p.m. ET. Darryl Sutter on Jeff Carter being an NHL 3-star: “It’s good they’re watching guys in the west once in a while. It’s nice they’re talking about Anaheim having a great start and recognizing players that have had good weeks and good games. That is a point of emphasis in all that, right?” Joey MacDonald gets the nod for the Flames.

Steve Yzerman on the Tampa Bay Lightning’s struggles: "To sit here and say, 'I’m going to do something big,' there’s nothing big that can be done at this time," Yzerman said. "It’s not like we just sit here and do nothing all day. You talk to people, you see if there’s anything that makes sense. For a lot of reasons it’s difficult to find a fit, to find the right players, the right salaries to make a trade. You don’t just do something to do it." [ESPN]
