Pens give LW Neal 6-yr., $30M extension (AP)

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed left wing James Neal to a six-year contract extension that will pay him an average of $5 million a season. The deal was announced by the team Sunday morning, hours before the Penguins play at Buffalo. And it comes nearly a year to the day Pittsburgh acquired the high-scoring forward in a trade with Dallas.
