Tavares' 2 goals give Isles 2-1 OT win (AP)

John Tavares scored his second goal of the game 3:58 into overtime, and the New York Islanders beat the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 on Saturday night for their third straight win. Tavares scored his 19th goal of the season after extending his career-best point streak to 12 games with a second-period goal.
