No. 1 Star: Brent Seabrook, Chicago Blackhawks
Score a series-winning overtime goal and you'll probably gonna get a star. Seabrook notched the 2-1 winner as the Blackhawks punched their ticket to Round 3, winning a series in which they once trailed 3-1.
No. 2 Star: Duncan Keith, Chicago Blackhawks
But Seabrook was excellent beyond the goal, as was partner Duncan Keith. The pair played over 26 minutes, and when they were on the ice, Chicago was in control.
No. 3 Star: Jimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings
It wasn't enough, but Howard did everything he could to keep the Red Wings in a game where Chicago had the run of the play, making 33 saves on 35 shots in the loss.
Honourable mention: It was overshadowed by all the late shenanigans, but Patrick Sharp's goal came on a gorgeous passing play:
Did you know? The Blackhawks became the 25th team in NHL history to come back from down 3-1 in a series. It really doesn't seem all that rare anymore, does it?
Conn Smythe Watch: 1. David Krejci, Boston Bruins; 2. Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings; 3. Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins; 4. Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins; 5. Patrice Bergeron, Boston Bruins; 6. Corey Crawford, Chicago Blackhawks; 7. Henrik Zetterberg, Detroit Red Wings; 8. Nathan Horton, Boston Bruins; 9. Mike Richards, Los Angeles Kings; 10. Brent Seabrook, Chicago Blackhawks.
Dishonourable mention: Stephen Walkom. He knows what he did.
