No. 1 Star: Jaden Schwartz, St. Louis Blues
After the Edmonton Oilers went up two in the first, Schwartz started the comeback, scoring 3:38 into the second. It was the first of 4 unanswered goals the Blues scored in a 4-2 victory. Schwartz would add an assist on David Backes's insurance goal, but it was T.J. Oshie's assist on the same goal that really impressed. Check out this sick one-handed feed:
No. 2 Star: Brent Seabrook, Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks' incredible streak stretched to 21 with a 4-3 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Seabrook played the hero, converting a beautiful feed from Jonathan Toews at 3:23 of overtime:
No. 3 Star: Matt Beleskey, Anaheim Ducks
Beleskey had a busy night, with a fight, 2 blocked shots, 3 hits, and the eventual game-winner as the Ducks' held on to edge the Minnesota Wild, 3-2. With the win, the Ducks moved to 15-3-1, the best start in franchise history.
Honourable mention: Vladimir Sobotka scored the game-winner in St. Louis as part of a two-point effort... Jonas Hiller made 31 saves for the Ducks.
Did You Know? Teemu Selanne scored his 669th NHL goal in the Ducks' win, taking sole possession of 11th place on the NHL's all-time goal scorers list. It was a gorgeous backhand:
Dishonourable Mention: Rough night in the faceoff circle for Ryan Getzlaf, who went 4-for-16 on draws.
