Blackhawks assign Montador to AHL (Yahoo! Sports)
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned defenseman Steve Montador to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League and recalled forward Jimmy Hayes.
