Washington glass hates Tomas Vokoun, as Capitals score freak goal vs. Penguins (VIDEO)

Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tomas Vokoun played 23 games in Washington last season as a Capitals goalie. Based on what happened Sunday afternoon, he didn’t learn all there is to know about the glass at Verizon Center.

Give the goal to John Carlson, assisted by Nicklas Backstrom and some friendly panes in D.C.

As was noted by the NBC booth, Vokoun nearly had the same trouble earlier in the game, but still left to his crease to play the puck on Carlson’s blast.

That tied the game between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins at 2-2. Pittsburgh responded with two goals 37 seconds apart.

Your move, glass.
