Red Wings put Franzen on IR (Yahoo! Sports)

DETROIT (AP) -- The Detroit Red Wings have put forward Johan Franzen on injured reserve. They also removed goaltender Jonas Gustavsson from IR and assigned him to Grand Rapids of the AHL on a conditioning loan.
