Former Florida Panthers prospect stretched off after violent double-hit at center ice (VIDEO)

Joonas Donskoi is left wing for Oulun Kärpät, a team in the SM-liga based on Oulu, Finland, as well as a fourth-round pick by the Florida Panthers in 2010.

On Saturday, he was skating through the neutral zone as his team set up a rush when Helsinki HFK player Martti Järventietä checked him. Just then, Arttu Luttinen skated into his Helsinki teammate, and then appeared to collide with Donskoi as well. The Kärpät player remained in the ice, until he was stretchered off:

According to a report, Donskoi was "conscious and legs moving" before moving onto the hopsital.
