Watch Jason Zucker score 5 seconds into OT, tying AHL record (VIDEO)

The Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League have been unable to get away from being part of record-breaking feats this month.

First, on Nov. 2, the Heat scored two shorthanded goals in three seconds, breaking the previous AHL mark of five seconds; then, on Saturday night, goaltender Barry Brust broke Johnny Bower's 55-year old record by extending his scoreless streak to 268:17.

On Sunday, the Heat found themselves on the other end of a record achievement.

Tied 2-2 and heading into overtime against the Houston Aeros, the Heat didn't even get an opportunity to go for the win as all Jason Zucker needed to end things was just five seconds:

Zucker, a 2010 second round pick of the Minnesota Wild, leads the Aeros with nine goals and is second on the team in points with 15.

According to the AHL, the goal tied Dave Saatzer of the Nova Scotia Voyageurs, who set the mark in 1980, and Chris Corrinet of the Portland Pirates, who matched the feat in 2002.
