Minor league baseball team to hold ‘Speed Dating with Tyler Seguin’ night

Every summer the Lowell Spinners, the Class-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, host Milan Lucic's "Rock & Jock" charity softball game. A week before this year's game will feature a unique promotion allowing fans to get up close and personal with Tyler Seguin of the Boston Bruins.

On August 15 the Spinners will be hosting "Speed Dating with Tyler Seguin". Did we just hear a collective scream from Boston-area puck bunnies?

From the Spinners:

Fans will have the opportunity throughout the evening to win a chance to spend time with the hockey superstar during the game. Each winner and their family will have the opportunity to spend five minutes with Seguin in a private suite, giving them the chance to ask the Stanley Cup Champion and NHL All Star questions, take photos, enjoy the game and who knows even score a phone number.

"When we asked the question "Who would be the one person in the Boston area that a Speed Dating Event Planner would want more than anyone?" The answer to us was Tyler Seguin," said Spinners Vice President of Corporate Communications Jon Goode. "He is one of Boston's most sought after Bachelors."

Remember when Rich Garces, a.k.a. El Guapo, held that title?

Five minutes will fly by so make sure you have all of your questions written down beforehand, like: "Who really ordered that Amstel Light?" and "Have you figured out how time zones work yet?"

Just hope your five minutes is as wild as his day with the Stanley Cup party. (Hint: bring the Grey Goose.)
