Wednesday’s Three Stars: Henrique pots another game-winner, Devils force Game 5

No. 1 Star: Adam Henrique, New Jersey Devils

With the game tied 1-1 in the third period, Henrique put home yet another game-winner with 4:31 left as the Devils forced a Game 5 with a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. LA leads the series 3-1. Henrique now has four goals in the playoffs, three of which are game-winners. He also had three GWGs during the regular season.

No. 2 Star: Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils

Brodeur was tested just 22 times and managed to stop 21 of them for his 112th career playoff victory.

No. 3 Star: Drew Doughty, Los Angeles Kings

Doughty scored the only goal for the Kings. It was his second of the series and he now has points in nine of his last 11 games:

Honorable mention: Patrick Elias scored the opening goal for New Jersey ... The Devils' win was the 47th by a road team in the 2012 playoffs, an NHL record ... New Jersey also extended their sweep-less streak to 43 series, the longest active by any team.

Dishonorable mention: Quick's shutout streak of 138:19 was ended by Elias' goal ... This is the third series Los Angeles has dropped Game 4 ... According to the NHL, "The Kings are the fourth consecutive home club to lose a potential Cup-clinching game, following the 2008 Detroit Red Wings, against Pittsburgh in Game 5; the 2009 Red Wings, against Pittsburgh in Game 7; and the 2011 Vancouver Canucks, against Boston in Game 7".
