Honorable mention: Patrick Elias scored the opening goal for New Jersey ... The Devils' win was the 47th by a road team in the 2012 playoffs, an NHL record ... New Jersey also extended their sweep-less streak to 43 series, the longest active by any team.
Dishonorable mention: Quick's shutout streak of 138:19 was ended by Elias' goal ... This is the third series Los Angeles has dropped Game 4 ... According to the NHL, "The Kings are the fourth consecutive home club to lose a potential Cup-clinching game, following the 2008 Detroit Red Wings, against Pittsburgh in Game 5; the 2009 Red Wings, against Pittsburgh in Game 7; and the 2011 Vancouver Canucks, against Boston in Game 7".
