LA Kings continue their Las Vegas club tour with Stanley Cup at Bellagio

The Los Angeles Kings continued their Vegas vacation — Slava Voynov keeps telling people he's Nick Papageorgio from Yuma — over the weekend at Hyde Bellagio, a spiffy new nightclub. No word if the Kings decided to later rob the vault that holds the earnings for Hyde and the clubs at the Mirage and the MGM Grand.

The team was greeted by Hyde cocktail servers in LA Kings tank tops and referee skirts, carrying giant letters spelling "K-I-N-G-S." The Kings players at the club included Jeff Carter, Brad Richardson, Trevor Lewis, Jarret Stoll, Jonathan Bernier, Alec Martinez and Drew Doughty and others.

Photos and video ahoy!

Here's what it sounds like when the Stanley Cup arrives:

The team made their way into the crowded club as "Eye of the Tiger" blasted and black and white LED lights emblazoned the space with King's colors. Hyde's costumed servers escorted the men to a plush booth below the club's dramatic fireplace. Settling into the booth, the group enjoyed champagne and cigars.

The group posed for pictures with fans and shared swigs of beer from the top of the massive Stanley Cup. Later in the night, Hyde presented the team with a replica Stanley Cup cake. Sadly, no images of that.

But here are some other images:

Yes, tough life.

Maybe we're out of the loop, but is there some kind of freaky Jabbawockeez fetish sweeping Vegas? Or did Jack Nicholson's Joker try to turn her into art?

Finally, one more video from Hyde:

The Cup headed home at 1 a.m. because it actually has a curfew. In case you were wondering, the Keepers of the Cup can be killjoys. From the Las Vegas Review:

We hear a Tao cocktail waitress sort of entered a no-fly zone early Friday when she hopped on a VIP table near the trophy and started dancing. One of the cup's handlers shot her down.

"That was a no-no. The handlers didn't want to take any chance it would incur damage," said an eyespy.

Well, yeah, before the NHL Awards, probably not. But after Wednesday night, she could have used it as a bidet.
