Blues promote Bruce Affleck to COO, sign Nichol (Yahoo! Sports)

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Blues promoted Bruce Affleck, a former player, broadcaster and sales manager with the franchise, to chief operating officer Thursday.
