Last-place Canadiens beat Leafs 4-1 in finale (Yahoo! Sports)

Tomas Plekanec scored a rare short-handed goal with Montreal down two players and the Canadiens beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 Saturday night in the regular-season finale for both teams. Max Pacioretty, Erik Cole and Brad Staubitz also scored for Montreal (31-25-16), which finished last in the Eastern Conference.
