In Game 1 between the St. Louis Blues and the Los Angeles Kings, Dwight King altered the course of their semifinal series by hitting standout defenseman Alex Pietrangelo of the Blues from behind. Pietrangelo missed Game 2 with a lower body injury.
One figured King would have to answer for his actions, and just 4:41 into Game 2 it was B.J. Crombeen that attempted to do just that:
"Attempted" being the operative word, as that wrestling match with occasional punches didn't really give the Blues the catharsis they desired. But hey, The Code's the Code …
