Logan Couture scored a tiebreaking goal early in the third period and the San Jose Sharks snapped a five-game slide with a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Monday night. Joe Thornton had a goal and an assist while Torrey Mitchell also scored for the Sharks (34-25-9), who are trying to get back into the playoff picture after losing 11 of their previous 13 games.
