Nabokov's 37 saves lift Isles past Jets (AP)

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec is saved by the post on a New York Islanders shot during the third period of an NHL hockey game in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012.

P.A. Parenteau scored early in the third period and Evgeni Nabokov made 37 saves and the New York Islanders defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-1 on Tuesday. Parenteau redirected a shot by Milan Jurcina for his 12th goal and 50th point of the season at 1:36 of the third period. Matt Moulson also scored for the Islanders (24-24-8) with his team-leading 25th goal of the season.
