Pens beat Panthers to snap 6-game skid (AP)

Evgeni Malkin scored late in the second period and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 Friday night. Steve Sullivan Tyler Kennedy, and James Neal also scored as the Penguins snapped a six-game losing streak, their longest since 2006, and got their first multigoal effort in the past six games.
