Blues beat Wild for first shootout win (AP)

St. Louis Blues ' Kevin Shattenkirk (22) scores past Minnesota Wild goalie Josh Harding during a shootout of an NHL hockey game Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, in St. Louis. The goal proved to be the game winner in the Blues' 3-2 victory.

Kevin Shattenkirk scored the only goal in the shootout, and St. Louis' Jaroslav Halak made three saves in the tiebreaker as the Blues beat the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Saturday night. St. Louis improved to an NHL-best 18-3-3 at home. The Blues, who have won five of six, are 10-0-2 in their last 12 home games.
